When going away to a place the Artist doesn’t normally inhabit, he buys a disposable camera. This camera is used to record aspects of the journey on route and upon arrival. When all these frames have expired Blackmore finds a quiet location, sheltered by trees to bury the camera. An ‘X’ is marked into the bark of the tree closest to the camera. These cameras will remain buried until when or if the Artist returns.
